Engaged | Amanda + Brian | Toledo Ohio Wedding Photography
Meet Amanda and Brian! I’m very excited to be shooting their wedding this summer, because it will be at the Toledo Zoo! How cool is that?! For their engagement session, we met at Walbridge Park in Toledo and then headed to the zoo. They even brought their dog, Eden, to be in some cute shots for their save-the-date cards. Eden was quite the little diva and wasn’t into having her picture taken, but she sure was adorable! Brian and Amanda, congrats on your engagement, and I will be anxiously awaiting your wedding day! Engaged | Abby + Craig | Minster Ohio Wedding Photography
For my first post of 2012, I’d like to introduce Abby & Craig. Craig serves in the Air Force, stationed in Texas, and Abby is finishing up her degree in Recreational Therapy at the University of Toledo. That left only a small window of time during which to schedule their engagement session when Craig was home for Christmas. So we met up a few days after Christmas in Minster, Ohio. It was a mere 21 degrees the morning of their session…brrrr!! Thankfully my husband Jim came along and kept the car nice and toasty for us. Abby and Craig were good sports too, jumping in and out of my car to keep warm and even taking off their coats for a few shots! Despite the cold, the two of them managed to look utterly adorable together. They were so natural in front of the camera, making each other laugh and smile effortlessly – no doubt a couple in love! Abby and Craig, congratulations on your engagement, and I’ll be praying that it will be a few degrees warmer at your wedding this November! Here are my faves:

There’s nothing better than an adorable couple who make each other smile… and that’s exactly how I would describe Kayla and Chad! Kayla is as sweet as can be and it’s obvious that Chad makes her happy. Kayla was another lucky bride who won an engagement session from the U&I Bridal Expo in Monroe. For their location, the two of them chose to go back to the site where Chad proposed earlier this year: the Toledo Botanical Garden. It was my first visit to the gardens, and it was just beautiful! I can’t wait to go back in the spring and see all the flowers blooming. Kayla and Chad, it was a pleasure getting to know you and be able to do your engagement portraits. Engaged | Ginger + Matt | Dundee Michigan Wedding Photography
Ginger is one of the lucky brides who won a free engagement session from my booth at the U&I Bridal Expo in Monroe last month. They met up with me in Dundee for a beautiful fall session. People say that laughter is a key component to a successful marriage, and I learned quickly that there is no shortage of it between the two of them! Ginger loves to laugh, which makes an otherwise serious Matt smile. They were fun to interact with and their joy with each other really shows through in their images.
