For my first post of 2012, I’d like to introduce Abby & Craig. Craig serves in the Air Force, stationed in Texas, and Abby is finishing up her degree in Recreational Therapy at the University of Toledo. That left only a small window of time during which to schedule their engagement session when Craig was home for Christmas. So we met up a few days after Christmas in Minster, Ohio. It was a mere 21 degrees the morning of their session…brrrr!! Thankfully my husband Jim came along and kept the car nice and toasty for us. Abby and Craig were good sports too, jumping in and out of my car to keep warm and even taking off their coats for a few shots! Despite the cold, the two of them managed to look utterly adorable together. They were so natural in front of the camera, making each other laugh and smile effortlessly – no doubt a couple in love! Abby and Craig, congratulations on your engagement, and I’ll be praying that it will be a few degrees warmer at your wedding this November! Here are my faves:

The Best of 2011 | From the bottom of my heart

Another year has passed and I wanted to take a minute to thank all my wonderful clients. Because of your love and support, Liz Dwenger Photography has gone through some amazing changes and growth this year. I feel so incredibly blessed to be doing what I love and without all of you, none of it would be possible. I wish you all peace, happiness and blessings galore in the new year. To reflect back on 2011, I am posting a bunch of my faves from throughout the year. Enjoy!

CJ | Northwest Ohio Portrait Photography

Doonie was my roommate in college, and her little boy CJ is quite the pistol! He was a riot during his portrait session near Pioneer, Ohio last week. He wasn’t thrilled about getting his picture taken, but boy did he belly laugh when Doonie would throw snow at me while I was shooting! And how cute is that outfit?! He looks like an adorable little lumberjack in a few of the shots! I just love him! Doon, it has been so amazing watching you turn into a great mom, and I’m so blessed to be a part of CJ’s life. One of my best friends, Leslie, just became a mom, and I was so excited to go down to Antwerp, Ohio to meet little Briggs and take his first portraits. I absolutely DIED over his little blonde mohawk! He was as cute as can be (by far the cutest Santa I’ve ever seen) and did a pretty good job of sleeping through most of his pictures.
