It’s Christmastime (my favorite time of year), and that means time to send out Christmas cards! Over Thanksgiving weekend I had some friends and family ask for quick portrait sessions for their Christmas cards, so of course I made time for them. They included my sister Meredith and her husband Tony, Nathan and Renee (who you might remember), and my mom’s whole family. I decided to group my favorites from each session into one post. I especially love the canine family members, and the goofy one of my family in which I was not only the photographer but also a subject! I think any of these would make a for a great Christmas card:

Class of 2012 | Jenna | Monroe Michigan Senior Portrait Photography

Jenna was such a trooper for her senior session on a very cold October evening! She is a senior at Lincoln Park High School and chose Sterling State Park as her location. Both Jenna and the fall colors looked gorgeous! And even though we had to take breaks so that she could warm up, we managed to have a great time and get some really beautiful images. Jenna, you have a beautiful smile and totally rocked your session (and those heels)! I’m so glad I got to work with you and I hope you have the best senior year! I had a lot of faves:

Engaged | Kayla + Chad | Toledo Ohio Wedding Photography

There’s nothing better than an adorable couple who make each other smile… and that’s exactly how I would describe Kayla and Chad! Kayla is as sweet as can be and it’s obvious that Chad makes her happy. Kayla was another lucky bride who won an engagement session from the U&I Bridal Expo in Monroe. For their location, the two of them chose to go back to the site where Chad proposed earlier this year: the Toledo Botanical Garden. It was my first visit to the gardens, and it was just beautiful! I can’t wait to go back in the spring and see all the flowers blooming. Kayla and Chad, it was a pleasure getting to know you and be able to do your engagement portraits.
