Engaged | Emily + Kris | Dayton Ohio Wedding Photography
I had a fun engagement session with Emily and Kris earlier this month! They chose their future wedding ceremony site as the location for their engagement photos, and it’s easy to see why. Smith Garden in Oakwood is quaint and quiet – the perfect spot for some romantic photo ops! All of the spring colors were out in full force, and other than a few kids trying to kidnap tadpoles from the pond, we had the place to ourselves. I can’t wait for your wedding, Emily and Kris, I’ll pray for the rain to stay far, far away from Smith Garden on September 18th! Here are a couple of my favorites from their session (kudos to Emily for bringing the super cute parasol!):

Well it’s wedding season again! My first wedding of the summer was with Danielle & Daniel who were married in Beavercreek, Ohio earlier this month. Unfortunately the weather was cold, windy, and just plain gross! So we didn’t get a chance to take any outdoor shots, but the hotel lobby had some great colors and big windows, so we just made it work! The wedding and reception went off with out a hitch (which is unusual in my experience!), and Danielle made a lovely bride! Here are some of my favorites from the day:

Cypress Albums Folios | Dayton Ohio WeddingPhotography
I just HAVE to say a little something about the folios I ordered from Cypress Albums: They are GORGEOUS! Fellow photogs, I can’t tell you enough how beautifully made their products are. Each album and folio is hand-crafted with Japanese silks and fine papers. Their folios make the perfect presentation piece for the DVDs that my wedding couples receive, and I order several at once for upcoming weddings. I was so excited to receive them the other day… here’s a peek at the little guys:
